FEMALE: Carla (Black/Blue S/07) Banded at Ft. Wayne in 2020, she is Moxie and Jamie's daughter.
MALE: Ecco (unbanded)

Kate St. John announced on 12/2/15 that Dorothy hadn't been seen at the nest for a while & that Hope was seen there instead. Dorothy's body hasn't been found, so its possible she is still alive.

E2 (b/g T/W) was found dead in a backyard 1-1/2 miles from the nest on 3/17/16. It appeared that he had been broadsided by something.

The chick was thought to be a boy, but since growth had been retarded because of parasites, they gave him a female band. (He did turn out to be a boy.)


FLEDGES:
6/21 He ended up on the ground & was returned to the nestbox unhurt.
6/24 He ended up on the ground again & this time was taken to rehab. It was discovered that not all of the flight feathers on his right wing had grown out & he has a weakness in his left foot. A week later new feathers were growing on his wing, but they are still investigating whether there are any other issues. He will remain in rehab until it is safe for him to fly, & if it isn't determined to be feasible to release him, he will become an education bird.

On 7/20/15, he died at rehab.
