Niner is doing a great job with her quintet. We had a good year last year, Heida. It was two years ago that I would like to forget.

Am assuming everyone knows that Niner is Mom and Little Dad's granddaughter. I did falcon watch for her father!

A little background info here. Niner's dad was Yellow Boy. He hatched in Harrisburg in 2005, I believe. He was from Little Dad's first year. He was seen in the fall of that year looking in a window at the Berks County Courthouse in Reading, PA. After a botched attempt at nesting on a Reading rooftop, Yellow Boy and his mate found a location to their liking at the Callowhill Building in downtown Reading. Yellow Boy was long lived just like his father. Three years ago another male took his place. The new male was Yellow Boy's son, which would make him Niner's brother. I was lucky enough to see Yellow Boy several times in Reading. He was a carbon copy of Little Dad.

thanks Jane. It is always nice when you can see the offspring.
it i s like our radisson, who did not return this year from migration. she would have been 18 years old this year.
but her son and grandson are nesting where I can see them .
