Bird Cams Around the World

OH! OH! I am Very happy! Add- I am so happy for Brinn! Last year they lost their eggs because much of the gravel sifted out through the holes in the floor of the nestbox and the eggs broke. This year she had the awful battle with the intruding female. But now she has 2 beautiful little eyases. I hear them peeping- loudly! Someone better bring some supper...Beasley....

Valley- we have a large pile of fluff snoozing away...Oak Creek, these 3 are busily exploring the box, checking out debri and each other...

Well, there are 3 hatches at Port Washington, 3 different sizes. I got here in the middle of a feeding, and I did not see the littlest one get any bites However the two bigger ones are pigs that were fighting between themselves for the bigger bites. The littlest one is a fighter, though- he pushed through the 2 brutes to try get a bite but they wore him down so that he went down...

Just saw another feeding. I could tell little guy had gotten at least one bite before I came as his mouth was bloody. As I watched, Brinn gave him 2 bites fairly close together. Hes not old enough to grab it from her like the other two do, so she carefully placed the food in his mouth and he worked it down... I think she had given a large portion to the biggest chick as it seemed less interested . So then Brinn fed several bites to the medium sized chick even though little guy was trying to push up to her but Big was leaning on Little, pushing him down. Over all, I felt OK about how much Little got. Port Washington

Well, I was able to watch a mostly positive feeding at Port Washington...I think Brinn must have stuffed the biggest chick first, because it was falling asleep when I first came on. So this feed was mostly between Middle and Tiny... Mom purposely gave Tiny several bites in a row until Middle started intercepting the bites. So Brinn gave Middle a feather to contend with as he tried to eat. Meanwhile Tiny got in a couple more bites....Brinn then gave Middle some more bites even though I could hear Tiny screaming for more. Tiny is still not letting the other two chicks flatten him. He is always pushing back as best he can, and trying to reach in for more to eat. I think he is planning to stick around until banding

Well, this was definetly a more fun feed! I opened the page and mom was already having a feeding - BUT- the three chicks were positioned as if they were riding a toboggan- Big in the back, Middle directly in front of (him) and way up front - TINY! And Tiny was having a great time grabbing a Bunch of bites from Brinn. And the other two pretty much hung back and waited. Tiny got pretty full so Brinn spread the bites out and ran out of prey. She left for a minute or so and cam back with more prey. This time the babies shifted around so they were beside each other, but they actually all took turns and little “Eager Beaver”Tiny joyfully ate every little bite he got until he just...fell...asleep
