Pack is a great provider. He just brought in a fully feathered chippy sparrow. They bonded enthusiastically down in the box. Then she took the food gift and flew out. Oak Creek

Port Washington- unusual goings on…. Brinn (with the head tuft) was on the ledge calling. Then she jumped on the roof to call some more. She took off from the roof headed for the trees below. Soon after an unbanded peregrine landed on the ledge Male? Female? It called and called, staying on the ledge for several minutes. Then if flew away, and soon after Brinn returned to the ledge. She left and unbanded returned…Brinn seems to be doing everything she can to avoid the unbanded falcon. meanwhile, where is Beasley?

Port Washington part 2. I’ll keep it short. I checked back at PW around 7:45 , pulling back the cam. The intruder (I guess she is a female) was standing on the ledge calling. Beasley flew in with a food gift, thinking she was Brinn. The intruder acted like a juvie food begging, lunging at the gift, and grabbed it right out of Beasley’s beak, and flew! Brinn had been nearby and saw this and was dive bombing the little thief where she had landed on the part of the building that juts out. Beasley was furious, actually stomping his feet. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes…They never did get the food gift back….
