Two Falcons showed up at the McKenzie Building today. Both not banded, but I think the one is the resident female.

Neither one of the last year birds returned this year. The male that showed up on April 8th has stayed around. No sign of a female since the one on April 8th 2023. Still hoping for a friend for him to show up.

We are waiting for a male for Radisson. I think all the storms have delayed return for some. It depends where they travelled to and when they left to come back

Well, I'll tell him but it seems he likes it here. :egg19: I watched him chase off six Turkey Vultures yesterday. So I imagine he's claiming the territory. I just hope a female shows up, even if it's to keep him company until they migrate. Time is running out here for nesting!

These two are at the Brandon Generating Station about 3 miles east of the McKenzie site. They have been hanging out here since they arrived. Hopefuly there will be chicks. I saw him bring a food gift this evening which she took of course. Neither one are banded.

I forgot to mention that the Ravens are nesting on the other side of the building on one of the stacks. They have four chicks. The falcons have already had altercations with the parents. Hopefully they will all behave! HaHa :girlcrazy:
