Possible intruder
Male went to front yapping and posturing. As he was out front , a falcon flew quickly by to left, going up.
Male went out .
Came back a short time later
Went out again just after 2pm and right back.
Female came in. And later saw another good exchange , so everything seemed good at nightfall

yesterday ( may31)
male was in a few times for long stays each time. but at 15:06, male came in and went to box and and out front. Female came in on a tear. male went ot box and female in an d he left abruptly.
she left but came right back talking . she was upset about something. maybe another falcon around. sh ewent out
15:09 F in and out front l she left at 15:11
15:51- F to front calling and now in front of cam
17:15 she left
17:94 male to front to box an d then sits at left
18:21- male gone

I have a tape and pictures but will be back to post

1. it is safe to say no eggs this year, but I am so excited to have this male here.
We did have unbanded female that graced us with her appearance one day ( May19)

2.now we have a banded female who came on May28 1/V.
sh e i s a one - year old from south campus Hospital in Calgary

3.there may have been a fight going on there but cam went down on May 23 and returned on on May27
we miss crucial things when this happens.

you got to feel for him as he really tried to woo first female and then second. But we know in most cases, a 1- year old will not nest. And it is late. notice I say most cases, as it has happened

4. We did not see 1/V again until may31- 15:06
she had a real bee in her bonnet. She came in really agitated and when male was in box , he left quickly. she left and was back talking up a storm( 15:09) sh e left in 2.
she came in again at 15:51( calling) but stayed till 17:15( maybe another female in territory.)

5. male in every day, he sits , and scrapes in box
JUne1- 13:05 male in doing a war dance. left at 13:14 but cam e in later and was calm
6. 17:30 F to box and out left front

so we will just watch and see what happens. He will be a good partner.
