Well , so far just pigeons.
I had a text from Jean today and she has been to U of A for a week now, and has seen no sign. Storms in U S may be holding them up. It depends where they migrate and what is intheir path , on way home

Still pigeons.
One year some flew in last weekend in April

I was not around and then was trying to get some hatches. He is very nice looking . Going to look at markings
No word on Bell

I did go back through cam and it was around a lot during day and came back ,till around 8 pm , off and on.
Fingers crossed for a pair. I have a few photos but no time to post till much later today.

Will try and get down that way, at some point in next few days.

Falcon there just after 5 am this morning. I think it is last years male. He is comfortable there. Now he needs a mate.
Peter and I will go down around early evening. If he turns in where Radisson did, then we know it is him, as she showed him where to roost last year.
New ones would not know.
As I said , we are not doing too much this year. Peter is tired, and we do not know if Gord is coming back to do falcons.
But I will check for eggs

Do not know why Bell is not online. I do imagine they have eggs.

this may be the young male from last year. He and radisson never had eggs as he came in way beyond her cycle.
so may no t know where to stash things. I know he turned in with radisson but spent most of time around box area. never saw prey on ledges as it usually is.

He was barely a year when he came in last year. He came in later. Radisson just hung out in box, resting or looking like she was going to lay an egg.
He hung around , and you found him around nest box. He hung out on right side of box , where that black is.
Radisson taught him to hunt, and later, he turned in where she did
So Radisson was always in box.
I think he stored prey on nest building . There was never any on ledges.
My theory is, since no eggs etc. he does not know what to do. So I think he thinks box is where he can store his prey.
If a female does come in, it will be, move over darling . Heaven help us.

Peter and I are not helping this year. Time they did it on their own . I have to email Gord, ad I do not know if he is going to be involved this year.
Without him, all changes.
And who knows what ACA does.

Box a real mess, as has now eaten most of pigeon and feathers everywhere.
He is there at front , bright and early this morning. Just after 4am

Yesterday snow storm. Mr. Spent time in box away from elements . Ate another prey item there. So far using the box as pantry
