Canadian Peregrine Foundation announced Hamilton chicks were banded today!They released each one’s name, but not band numbers:

Kirkendall male 592 grams
Gibson male 570 grams
Delta female 753 grams
Stipley. —- 577 grams
All were in good health with no sign of illness

Kirkendall, male, 592 grams, 35/AW blue tape
Gibson, male, 570 grams, 36/AW white tape
Delta, female, 753 grams, yellow tape - ID number not revealed
Stipley, male, 577 grams, 38/AW red tape

Three chicks have figured out hopping up on the ledge and are currently standing in a row looking out over the city. One is hanging out in the scrape. Keep in mind Kirkendall has blue tape, Gibson has white tape, Delta has yellow tape and Stipley has red tape…

Female ID is H over 76 (Just saw a picture where her band was clearly visible) :teehee:

Apparently Kirkendall decided to take that leap of faith a tad too early (either by accident or by design). He landed on the sidewalk in front of the Sheraton and was immediately scooped up and taken to Owl Foundation for a check up. He is in excellent health with no injuries, but will be kept for a few days until he gains more strength and loses some of that down. Then he'll be returned to the top of the Sheraton.

Delta took the leap this morning...and of course, needed rescue. Taken to Owl Foundation for a check up...and both she and Kirkendall were returned to the roof of the Sheraton.

Sunday, June 4, 2023 - Courtesy of Brandon Duquette, ... and a link to video of Kirkendall, shot from inside the window of the Standard Life building where Kirkendall was perched, Saturday at 1:10pm. The video shows McKeever repeatedly gliding past Kirkendall with food, in an effort to tempt him to fly. Thank you, Brandon!
