Mothers day 13-05-2007 _ 13-05-2012

Exactly five years ago we all witnessed a miracle happening,
S2 became a mother to Hope and Faith on Mother's day (of all days! )

How bitter-sweet these images are now, with S2 in rehab, 2OR chased off from her nest and eggs
and with Pa still as dedicated to his offspring as back then, but the outcome is very different unfortunately.

DEF. . .WOW. .hard to believe it was 5 years ago. . so many changes since then. . I sure wish we could have that same sort of miracle this year. .thank you so much for the wonderful videos. I do hope that 2OR is ok and I hope that when it is time for S2's release, that she will come home and reunite with Pa.

Yeah what a memory. It has been very hard to watch this unfold but that is I guess how nature works and I have to accept that there will be no chicks this year. It has at least been interesting to watch and learn. I hope you all had a great Mother's Day.

When I first started watching the nest in 2008, I looked around for anything I could find about the falcons. I came across a video called 'a change of heart' I think. Anyway it was the video of S2 and mother's day but started out with Pa and Ma (not 100% sure) and told the story in captions, there might have been music too. I didn't really know anything so I was enthralled by it. I tell ya, I cried long and hard, I was so touched. That was when S2 stole my heart.

I remember this so well. We came together as a world that year.

We cried and cried and then we hoped and then we rejoiced. lost lots of sleep. Beans made so many videos and there were lots of other people that contributed also
I bought a musical one.

i hope this miracle and how we turned dislike to love, helps people to accept a new falcon at their site.

We never forget the former but we rejoice the future.

this is why I love 2OR
