Pa in with a visit from 8:35 - 8:44! Not sure if he brought it with him or found on the nest as his back is to us when he comes in, but he spent his time eating something. When I came in, could only go back a little over 30 minutes on the DVR as there has been a reset this morning.

Ma and Pa are currently on the nest!!

It was a really long visit for Ma and Pa this morning. Ma left at 9:26, only to return 2 minutes later with a large oak branch with many offshoots and leaves. She and Pa wrestled with it for quite awhile trying to place and control. Eventually they both stood on top of it and I know Pa did a little snipping and they finally had 2-3 pieces to place with some of it remaining flattened on the floor of the nest. Ma left at 10:14 after standing with Pa for quite awhile watching something beyond the nest. Pa remained and decided to lie in the bowl and brought some of the oak leaves toward his chest. He was there for a long time. Finally, he stood and decided to fly at 12:33.

Ma in at 7:00 with Pa following her. They only stayed 3 and 4 minutes and both flew out the rear and to the back woods to sleep for the night.

Missed any early morning activity, but Ma is on the nest right now!!

Pa arrived at 12:15 and Ma remains on the nest!

Pa in at 5:22 with fluff. He left at 5:47. Then Ma and Pa in at 7:00. She flew to the back woods at 7:04 and he did the same about a minute later.

Pa was in earlier this morning, but he left only to return a little later to lie in the bowl. Eventually Ma shows up and after awhile he left. Ma remained on the nest for 2 hours before flying out at 1:03!.

Pa in for a visit from 1:46 - 2:02. He brought more fluff to place and he tried out the bowl again before leaving!

Was surprised to see Ma come in at 7:10 after dark. Pa was about a minute behind her. He flew to a branch on the right at 7:14, went to see if I could find him on the approach cam, but it's stuck on 4:02 am again. Ma is lying on the nest and it appears she will spend the night!!

Edit to add: Pa is also spending the night as he peeked down from the same right branch at 12:25 am after Ma had been up stirring around for about 3 minutes. She had stretched and went to the edge nearest him for a PS before settling down again.

Ma got up and didn't waste much time before leaving at 7:38. Pa in at 9:12 with a load of fluff to spread. After he was done, he had to try out the bowl and he brought some fluff and leaves toward his chest of course. Then he hopped up and after looking around for awhile he left at 9:21 per cam time. The time has not been set back 1 hour here yet.

At 12:56, Ma is in with a whole squirrel to eat! She kept at it till it was completely gone ... in the end swallowing the hide and tail. She then began feaking at 2:05 on the floor of the nest and flew out the rear 2 minutes later. This is actually her 2nd meal on the nest today as she brought in a fish to eat earlier this morning. That meal she actually left some and Pa finished it up for her!

D/t time constraints, I am unable to check back on the DVR tonight for when she came in, but Ma is lying on the nest and asleep right now. I did check the approach cam and did not see Pa, but that doesn't mean he's not there somewhere.

I did not get in here early enough to see what time Ma left this morning, but she did spend the whole night. Read on chat, Pa came in the 1st time this morning at 7:40. Going back on the DVR, I found Ma arriving to the nest at 8:40 and Pa about 2 minutes later. She was doing a little aeration and he moved a stick. He found some tidbits of the fish from yesterday maybe and ate whatever it was and flew to a branch on the right and out of view. He returned at 8:59 flying in from the left and moved a large forked stick from the left of the nest to the right and then some aeration work. Ma flew off at 9:01 as he observed. He flew out the rear at 9:07 in the same direction that Ma went. They have reset the time on the cam, so it's correct now.

Ma and Pa in at 2:38! They did some aeration about the bowl and then something outside the nest seemed to catch their attention and they watched for quite some time. Ma seemed to be getting slightly worked up about whoever was out there and finally alerted at 2:56! Finally, I think she'd had enough and flew at 2:58. Pa stood around watchful and flew at 3:05. At 3:01 from the approach cam, you can see an eagle being chased and I bet the eagle being chased is not Ma!! :teehee:

There was a reset on cam 1 and did not see them, but I did find their last visit on the approach cam. They both flew in to the nest at 6:09. Pa flew out at 6:14 and Ma at 6:40 in the same direction as Pa. Was especially glad to see Ma was safe and doing okay after her likely chase of the intruder eagle near the nest area earlier today. :5val:

Pa in with 2 short visits this morning shortly after 8 am. The 1st visit was to bring in a load of fluff to spread and the 2nd was to bring in a large stick to place. Ma has not checked in so far today.

They are not spending the night it seems. However, I went back to 2:50 pm and found both of them already on the nest. He left a little later, but she stayed till 5:50 pm! I did not watch it continuous for that whole span of time, but every time I pulled it up, she was there!!

Ma and Pa are currently on the nest! Cam 1 is frozen for me, but I could see them from cam 2.

Ma is not on the nest tonight.
