It seemed that dad wasnt bringing home the poisson er fish as often as other nests but could this have been due to the close proximity of ready to grab fish to the nest? This am i did see an eagle on his favorite perch on the osprey platform . Maybe the two hear or sense one of the eggs is going to shortly hatch??

Too funny, Catbird!!! When I first saw the fish, I thought HATCH...Mom's dozing now...she's been getting up every 15-20 and either turning the eggs, or checking the progression of a hatching chick (?)....like, I really know..hee hee

Hatching has started.

We were also glad to see the father bring in a fish; in past seasons that action often meant a chick was coming.
