I missed the first part of this egg roll processing those last 2 pics, but it still looks like 2 eggs. Hard to tell:

I think this is the mom and I feel so sorry for her. She keeps calling and calling presumably for backup. Finally, she stood up (calling again) but is back down on the eggs. Two eggs, BTW.

Pretty sunrise shot . . . I sure hope this is not the same parent that was stuck last night calling and calling with no break! I'm a bit worried, so if anyone sees the second parent, please post a picture and time. Thanks!

I must have missed the changing of the guard as this eagle looks different and seems quite content, sleeping:

That's right, kittenface, and they are soooo much cuter as eaglets than as eggs. ;)

I had a concern on Sunday and early Monday before the cams went out about whether a second parent was around. Check my posts. Hope I'm wrong.

Well there was a 2 minute break when the eggs were alone and thankfully covered in the moss or what ever it is in the nest but right back on them I wonder if it had so have a potty break or maybe (I'm grasping at straws now) a switch out on a branch or something like that.
It looks to be the same one there I'm getting a bit worried here now too

I just watched a switch at Blackwater - that cam is on 30 second refresh, and they were only on the nest together for a single refresh. And I've seen food appear between refreshes at Blackwater. They can be very fast.

3:29 incubating adult just flew off for a few seconds - and I think the same adult returned, though I don't know them well.

I noticed a leg band in the still of the adult on the edge of the nest at 11:14 - and I think I saw a leg band coming and going. However, while I know at least one of them has a leg band, I'm not sure that the other one doesn't. Does anyone know?

I'll try to keep an eye on them - and am hoping for the best.

Yes they both do and this has been the same Eagle I believe its mom from what I can see
she has been in and out a couple times but only for a few seconds at a time she has been yelling off and on all day but no show from dad I haven't seen her eat anything at all all day either, its got me a bit worried if the male is even around he is new this year, and then the camera being down doesn't help on seeing anything for a couple days either.
So I'm going to keep good thoughts you would think if he wasn't somewhere she would leave for food at some point right?
She has been turning the eggs a few times now that I've seen and keeps pulling the bedding up and around the eggs also the first time she left she covered them completely over
After last years horror I'm a nervous wreck right now
(sorry for all the rambling on  )
