I tried to watch my favorite parents a little today, waiting patiently for a hatch. There was some listening, but I don't think that little one was quite ready today. They are so beautiful, it was very serene watching them today. I can't wait for tomorrow :yip :yip

Dad's been egg sitting most of the morning. Its clear that both can hear the eaglet, and they are checking frequently. Mom is no doubt getting a final break before the real action begins. We are expecting rain for several days straight.

It is sooooo much fun!! I love the classrooms on there too. Steve, Reese and the moderators have been doing a fantastic job answering thousands of questions daily.

I was watching before I went out and snapped a few shots and then saw the bobble when I came home. I missed the hatch. I have never seen the male on by himself for a hatch before. good on Him :girlluv:

It was super fun watching today. Bev and Patti, your shots are great highlights. :girlluv: Mom would not let dad take over for a while, but once she did she was gone for hours. He was adorable interacting with the hatchling. It was such a nice change to see him standing guard today. He has obviously spent most of time adding more large sticks to the nest. Its a fortress now!
