Great videos Ploughboy! How about Dad getting bumped in the second feeding, but gladly tearing it off for mom. He is awesome! And how did he stay so dry?

A few from today:

Great pics! :) I watched off and on today. #1 was being a bully already! Third egg was pipping but now the cam went down. Hopefully they'll have it up first thing in the morning.

:) :) Aren't they!! Best part about this cam is having actual people zooming in and out all day!! You'll never get that close on any other cam! :)

PS - I resized those last 2 - hope they're fixed?

We think #3 has hatched but it's hard to get a look at it. May still be resting.

Really adorable pictures, Patti. :loveheart2:

Posted on Reese Lukei Blog:

Well the Norfolk Botanical Garden bald eagles have done it again – produced three eaglets. Sometime overnight the third eaglet hatched. At 9:09 this morning I was certain that I had seen the new eaglet being fed, but it was not until the three chicks were being fed by the female at 2:30 this afternoon were we able to see all three together.

Mom was very careful to make sure the little ones got most of the food in this afternoon's feeding. Its amazing to watch her put such tiny little pieces in their beaks and control where it goes with all three bobbing around!

Ditto for me! Those little babies are so darling, and the parents are really awesome in their concern and care for them. This is such a lovely eagle's nest!
