I agree! This has got to be the miracle eaglet - I still can't believe that egg hatched after all those terrible snowstorms the parents had to contend with. Thanks, PattiO, for being there to capture the little chick!

I'm just in awe! I'm SOOOOOOOOO happy it hatched!! The Eagle Momsters on the blog have named him/her Palmer. Deb Palmer was a Momster who died suddenly last fall. She lived in South Dakota but had made a trip to see Belle and Lib. The picture on the main page of the blog was taken by her. So, I think that is a wonderful tribute (remembering Froona!) and will gladly call him/her Palmer. :) :)

SOOOOO happy for these super duper eagles who kept 1 egg through all that messy weather. They are so beautiful, all the times with both of them on the nest together. :rainbow certainly has come after the deadly storms. I am so pleased I'm almost over whelmed :spingirl:
