Speaking of new eagle cams, Beth and LeicaEagles have provided us with links to a cam in Minnesota. It is not yet online but should be soon.

Link to cam:

Link to blog:

Info about the nest: The Minnesota Bound Bald Eagle nest is located 75 feet high in a central Minnesota Cottonwood tree, less than 30 yards from the flowing waters of the Crow River. Our pair is in their 3rd year at this nesting site. This nest is relatively young by Bald Eagle terms and is roughly 3 x 3 ft, made out of twigs, brush and other eagle friendly bedding.

My first thought when I brought up the cam & saw sweetie looking wet was "is he/she OK"? But then he/she moved (thank goodness)!

Well I just read on the blog that there is a GHO nesting there in the Eagles nest :o

Minnesota Bound Live Eagles Look out! We have a Great Horned Owl
that has taken residency of the nest. I'm not sure what is going to happen
when the eagle returns, but I bet it won't be pretty...
