Today I schlepped down to the Connowingo Dam along the Susquehanna river to hopefully see some eagles. Only saw two and a local? said that they were building a nest on one of the high tension wire towers but i saw no trips to and from Nest Depot to either. One was perched on one tower for as long as i was there while another larger looking one perched in a tall tree on my side of the river

A mish/mash of pics...must have been very noisy there...and I swear all the eagles were stirred up!!! I bet this would have been wild watching this on a streaming cam...

Now...about this mouse...this was the second one brought to the nest...but, I haven't seen a feeding yet...but this mouse was pranced all around the nest before it was dropped...

Hard to get a look.... so the question remains, is that egg shell, or another egg??

Looks like Larry has blood on his throat sure hope its nothing serious I ask at the chat room about it & talon I guess mod. there I'm slowly trying to coax him/her over here with all the pictures  sure would be nice to have someone up close there
talon : Yes, they were eating off a dead deer nearby. I got pics of Larry last night with blood all over the top of his nice white head. Larry has blood on his neck right now.
