We have been waiting a long time for this day! I live just a bit under two hours
from Berekley Plantation. I'll probably leave the house around 5:30 a.m. It is going

Jim, enjoy the event! I am headed out of town tomorrow, so I won't be able to make it. There should be a huge crowd there, and I'm sure it will be fun for all. Nothing better than releasing a big bird, much less five eagles. Take lots of pics. Can't wait to hear about it.

Already over 33,000 viewers...WVEC is reporting a weak stream from the plantation, so I'm not sure how many of us will actually be able to connect...not live yet..

We apologize for the poor quality video this morning. The feed from the plantation is unstable due to a weak data signal. You should not need to refresh the page when the video pauses.
