Well I broke down and emailed Joe about the camera and this was his very fast and wonderful reply

Hi Kittenface...

You're not a pain. To be honest, I have had no communication with Xcel Energy since I serviced the system this past summer. We installed all new cabling, new mics, and new batteries. I sent an email complaining about the live feed and small images back in July and again later. But, there is no information. I will see if I can find anything out for you.
