Thanks for the pic, beth!!! Boy are they early. First egg last year was 1/25!!! I wonder if this is gonna be the trend!!!

OK..finally got my pics done...The first (from afar) are right after egg lay:

and after they finally zoomed in. I'm not sure the cam likes being this close.

Savannah had a hard time settling down and kept getting up and pacing, bless her heart.

it has sound & zoom its pretty cool also now I haven't seen a Eagle yet but I will
I read the forum threads all the time and rarely post, but I wanted to share this with you all. I have found a terrific set of cams at L&D 13, located above Fulton, IL and Clinton, IA!! (Maybe D1 will show up here this winter... if she ever leaves Decorah. lol)

Four cams are listed on the page. First is the cam of the tailwaters area...it's exciting to see the eagles flying by and sitting in the trees! Second is the nest cam… the adult pair, Hope and Valor, are at the nest everyday, preparing the nest and eating there, too. There is sound at nest; no IR at either cam. I found IE to be the best browser. Plug-ins may be required to view cams. I had to download Java and an audio plug-in.

Re: Hope and Valor — at Lock and Dam 13.
The saga of Hope and Valor continues. In 2010, Hope and Valor decided that a better location was in order since their nest blew over in 2009. Well, their new nest location also blew over during the summer of 2011.

November 5, 2011
They returned to the original nest site and are beginning to rebuild. This time, the nest has been reinforced with a few two by fours.

Good luck with that nest building.
