Actually that was NOT a fish. That's what has us all stumped. Could be a sandhill crane.

I added 15 pics today and several yesterday. I need to learn how to post pics here without having to resize from my photobucket. That takes too long. :)

If you are uploading pics from your computer you can resize them before you upload them. Still takes time though. I use Irfanview to take screencaps ... then when I upload them to Photobucket I open them first in Microsoft Office Picture Manager ... where I can resize them and edit them.

Perhaps there is a way to pre-set the sizes of your pictures?? :egg16:

PattiO: Fantastic pics. I saw them today. I went to my parents who live on this road. My son was with me, and he saw a PS and started laughing. Then right when we were leaving one did some wing flapping.

ImageBald Eagle DayImage
On June 20th, 1782, the bald eagle was chosen as the symbol of the United States. In June, 2007 the bald eagle was finally removed from the Endangered Species list after more than thirty years. To commemorate these remarkable events, June 20th has been designated, Bald Eagle Day.

I bet talon & the kids are excited about this
12pm – Meet the Eagles4Kids experts! For the last two years, the National Eagle Center has been the educational partner of some very ambitious 3rd-4th grade students. Mike Lawrence’s class in the Blair-Taylor school district installed a nest camera and blogs about the activities of a bald eagle nest in western Wisconsin. This year, two young eagles are growing fast and are getting ready to fledge. Mr. Lawrence and his students will share some of the highlights from this year’s nesting season and talk about what they’ve learned from eagles.

There are more young raccoons on the nest....last night and today. Lilly is great at mantling now and is actually pulling meat free as she self feeds. Luke is now the snatcher. They are both getting some good high wing hops. Hope they are not branching for another week as I will miss them soooooo.
