Just going on the latest reports, it sounds like one of the chicks keeps leaving the nest bowl. I wonder why. It is heartbreaking.

Yes and poor mom is just beside herself not knowing what to do she keeps going over and it does seem like it is going to go in the right direction then boom the other way, you can see that the poor little thing is just plain out tired and giving up

I'm pretty sure it's #2 that is stuck. I'm so sad. :( Why does this have to keep happening this year.

I am so sorry to everyone here. It is so frustrating to not have any control over events like this that seem so fixable. Ugh..

Trying to understand why an eaglet would continually go the wrong way, could it have been born blind or something? Just does not seem natural especially with the bad weather.

Regardless, it is so sad to watch. :cryinggirl:

well, it was only a few days old ... how well can they see? I was wondering why the adult didn't make some noise to coax it back to the bowl.

I think it was #2... I'm so sad. :egg10: :egg10:

I am very sure from reviewing my snaps from yesterday that it is #2. What a little trooper. I can only think that it was somehow tangled in some way and could not go ahead beyond a certain point. It was very frustrating. Dad is such a great dad for sitting with it on the nest at 11:18. And mom was chirping to it off and on and she was up and over to it at least 10 times.

Patti there was some noises from mom I can't remember who it was that has it on video mom was calling
Susan I was thinking the same thing but didn't know how to put it into words about not seeing
it was moving aftermom kind of jumped/kicked whatever you want to call it on the branches it headed towards her then turn I was wondering if something might have been wrong with its brain or something like that I know that doesn't sound very nice but I can't think for the life of me what the words are for like brain damage nuralogical is that it?
Yes it is sad :egg10: I was at work so I didn't know which one it was so you say it was Goldie the middle chick?
I just can't bring myself to tune in yet I'm going to be a big wienie right now

I haven't wanted to look either Kitten .. but at the same time I wanted to make sure PatO wasn't out wandering again today in the wind. Both chicks were in the bowl each time I checked. They are both having dinner now.

I'm cropping my pic. :(
