OMG I can't believe I didn't post this
Wow, thanks everyone for the nice comments! Yes, I retired on July 15th last year. Since then I have contracted back to work on the physical eaglecam site: maintaining the cameras, mics, and microwave transmitters and receivers that send the images back to the power plant. I do enjoy getting to work down there and hope I can continue with that for a few years. But, since I've retired my wife and I have been totally up to our eyebrows giving much needed support to family members. It's been a tough few months for sure. Anyway, I'll try to find out what I can for ya. It just kinda feels like there's not a lot of push to make the FSV Eaglecam "shine" like it could. But, I keep hoping. I have already inquired about the status and will report back when I hear. Thanks again for the nice words. Joe ~ Greeley, CO
I just hope we at least get the old camera stuff even if there isn't sound I think I'd have to go move there for the spring and summer if we don't get a cam, they just don't seem to be as excited about the Eagles now I just have so many things going threw my head about why they might be dragging their feet maybe if I show them that one of them is banded again that seemed to get them moving 2 yrs ago

UPDATE from Amy at RRP forum
I bet Joe had something to do with this also
Dot and everyone, Xcel told us today that they are very near to getting all the cams up and running. Stay tuned - we are very hopeful it will all be back up soon!
