They were there at sunset bev! :) Belle looked like she wanted to snuggle down in her bowl... but Shep hopped down from above and just wouldn't get out of her way! :teehee: She looked a bit annoyed! I think he is just a tad too young and spirited our sophisticated Miss Belle!

Belle sure is spending a lot of time in the nest today...I think she's "great with egg"....I hope that's it..hope there aren't intruders around...She doesn't seem alarmed...guess time will tell..

I remember a few years back when we were upset because Shep was here and no Liberty, but Belle is teaching him well. He is sure turning out to be a good mate.

We may not like change but that is the circle of Life.

Will be watching for an egg.

Do you remember the snow storm where Belle lost I think 2 eggs but she laid another during storm and it hatched. No one thought it would . we stayed up long hours watching. Peter thought I ws nuts as I was getting no sleep.

Man, we have had some trying times but we all stick together and will them throuhg the tough times.

Ohhhhhhh the memories! :loveshow: Dragged my butt to work so many times!!

Shep is turning out to be a very good mate ... it was just the circumstances that made it us dislike him at first. I think he'll be even better this year!!

Belle should lay an egg sometime this week!
