01/27/13:
Egg Alert!:
We have three eggs on the nest. Please read our note which explains the status of the cam and gives an update on the eggs.

Also, we notice that the updating of the image is erratic at times; we're checking on our Internet connection to fix that.

Gigi-I will ask Lisa if she has any egg dates.

I checked the comments under Lisa's note and found this info:

~Since we don't know exactly when the eggs were laid on the Eagle Cam, our best guess for hatching is mid February.

Thanks Beth. Last year's eggs were laid on Jan 11 and 14th so mid February would put them on approximately the same schedule. We'll just have to wait and see.

Tried this am to catch the parents changing guard and see the eggs but the webcam
wasn't working with me...fuzzy and timed out.

bev ... the cam shuts off at 11:00 P.M. EST and starts again at 4 or 5 AM in the morning. Saves them money. It was actually offline today as they were replacing some cables to try and clear up the static.

oops... and I just read a note that said the cam did not restart overnight ... then they worked on the cables. I don't think they got it going again today. I'll have to check tomorrow.
