OH NO...I have had no time to check this nest today...YIKES...

Remember when this happened at Blackwater several years ago...eggs were projected to hatch and they were in a major snow storm...Mom was just covered. Dad would come in and try to help..I remember watching until the cam went off line...mom was just buried.

Of course, Now I can't remember if the eggs hatched during the storm or not..lol

She is sitting on the nest for at least 9 hours now. No food. It's very, very windy. She isn't comfortable, to put it mildly. :girlsad3:

Ase, I sat and read chat for about an hour. Apparently dad had been in twice, but mom refused to get up...she had been there since last night..

Mom got up once to stretch and flap...got a look at the eggs-possible pip...at this distance, really hard to tell.

I enlarged, but it didn't help much...could be a pip, could be dirt...who knows..
