Its strange..I've checked the PTZ cam several times today...No feeding frenzy..and hasn't been (when I've looked) since that initial day..did see another dog, though..

(I spoke too soon about eagles feeding in the field..counted several adults and what appeared to be a couple of juvies)

Exciting afternoon (so far)...Lucy has been to the nest several times and Larry joined her twice. I'll try to isolate some pics later...but, until then, one of larry's visits..

A couple of her feet...She has survived her right foot...I'm pretty worried about her left foot..It looks like its still got good color, but appears to be quite swollen... :nailbite:

edit to add; I've been having trouble viewing the PTZ cam; stalling blue circles... Don't know if it's USTREAM or my computer but I see a blue circle in your scap, Mary Anne. You too?

Its not your computer or Ustream...the PTZ cam has really been having issues today..

Thanks for the vid...I have about 8 more videos...I think I'll just do pics...I also have the video of her foot...won't process that one...

I didn't have much time for pics but got one close up that was pretty good. Thank you all for the great coverage. Today was another busy day. Lots of eagles around. On my way home I drove up the road and saw both juvies, and 6 adult balds. Lucy was on the old carcass that I didn't think they would get any more off of. She proved me wrong. Shortly after she took flight. Loved seeing Larry on the nest 2 times today. They were very vocal, seeming to communicate to the others that they need to understand whose turf they were on.

With the wind, cams generally have more data to process with everything moving around. You may notice that on some others as well.

Very big bite!!! She uses her wings to help her balance. At one point, she tried to use that right foot to keep from sliding down. She'll figure it out..
