Based on the chatter, Mrs. GHO laid an egg this morning...I haven't seen her move, so no pics...I'll be honest...this situation makes me very nervous...Let's hope if the eagles return, that they do it now before there are more eggs OR baby owlets...

Thanks KF..yep...that's what the chatters are saying...but, they feel like egg #1 (or #2, depending on how you count) froze last night...I have no clue...I did watch her for a while..and she looked like she was doing a good job..

Wolf River...I can never catch her when she moves...and now I'm just praying the eagles don't show up!!! Or if they do, I hope its tomorrow...and she gets outta there quick...there's time for her to finish her clutch elsewhere..Eagles laid toward the end of March, 2012, so this could get messy if they return

This is Wolf River bald eagle nest cam, wisconsin...A GHO has taken over the nest...1 egg so far. However, the resident eagle pair was seen in the area this morning. The eagle pair generally do not nest here until March. Of course, nestorations begin prior to that. I am just hoping that either the eagles run mom and dad owl off VERY soon or they choose another tree for their nest. Eagles usually have a second nest near the first one. I do not know if this eagle pair does or not.



Wolf River has named the GHO pair Bonnie and Clyde (LOL)

This is the first time I have seen Clyde

Treat #2~which she doesn't eat..snack for later or preparing to lay egg #2?

Bonnie at Wolf River...still two eggs...clyde has already brought her one mouse for a snack (I missed it) No eagle sightings today...hope it stays that way!!! I've grown quite fond of Miss Bonnie..
