3 owlets at 22-24 days old. The oldest one especially is getting very big and doing some exploring!

wolf River owl

It was a weird nihgt last nihgt. Very quiet till about midnight. then lots of hooting and bonnie off and then on and then off and then another owl on , and off right away and Bonnie back and of and then Bonnie came back as if nothing happened. the owl appeared smaller . then I went to bed but left video up and about 3am or so, you could hear hooting back and forth and the Bonnie flew of f but was only gone for about 12 minutes.

Bonnie does not seem too rattled about all of this but I sure she would like it to stop. Now this could go on at a lot of sites. We just do not see it.

Today all was quiet. I left recorder up when i was not here, so i knwo what happens
So tonight jsut after 6 , cam time an owl came flying in fast and bonnie quickly flew out. the owl hit the tree. Seemed stunned and then left . Bonnie again came back as i f nothing happened. she was ready as clyde always warns her.

It was 1 year ago today when George and Martha took to the nest for the first time and started to do annual maintenance. Keep in mind last year there was less snow, open water and milder temps. I think we are on the cusp of their return. The temps will be mild this weekend and I would be suprised if they didn't return by the end of this weekend.

I sure hope Martha and George have a second nest. Bonnie has put up with so much..between the snow, wind AND Owlzilla..I sure would hate to see her tangle with M & G next...

Everything is O.k. right now Weather is miserable but Clyde is a good provider.

Lake Barkley Osprey nest has a GHO with two babies.
This was also the case in 2011. Looks like both of the parents are on the nest to help
each other :))

aawe. So cute.
I watched at Shandy point a few years ago when owls took over Osprey nest. Lost one young one but the other did well

Wolf River

Clyde visits Bonnie with a treat. After a few seconds, she decides to take one of the rodents that he brought earlier and go off cam. Gives us a chance to look at the eggs..

Hopefully, we'll see hatching this week.
