Dixie had been loo kin up . she was hearing something grand quickly flew off. came right back, and on eggs but looking up again . Hope all is well

yankee had been on a bit earlier. these two fly in the dark so hop e all is good out there
22:27 she just flew straight out again.
will put recorder on.

Gee I don't even think it's that warm out yet. They are calling for 60's this afternoon though. Yesterday there was a lot of panting............ I wonder if the heat needs to be adjusted or whatever it is they do about the heat!

Yankee is laying pretty flat on the eggs. Cam wasn’t running when I first looked in- just had to refresh it several times. Dixie asking for a turn on the eggs, Yankee, with eyes shut ignoring her. I have a feeling she was talking to him though, because finally he lifted his head to look at her- and he is really panting…..

Yankee is real stubborn when it comes to getting off those eggs and Dixie is so patient.... They are a real true blue couple!

I see all the panting and although I realize falcons do that to keep cool in real hot weather; it is not that hot here. Today is very comfortable. I hope the heat situation is not the cause because hot weather is on the way and then what!

Hi Sally, seems like this has happened during the last several years- too warm in the nestbox. I keep remembering howGreat Spirit Bluff had a fly problem, and they installed some kind of ventilation system in that nestbox to take care of the problem. I wish Buffalo would consider something like that..

You Gotta love these two! Thankfully the weather is going to cool down to fourties (degrees) to low 50’s Monday through Wednesday.
