It's 53 degrees and raining...let's hope its a lot warmer in that box.

I've been watching for a while and she's made no effort to pull it under her...and its barely moving..fingers crossed..

It appeared that Dixie was picking away at the third egg (or fourth). It seems like she has picked a good part of the shell away and what I'm looking at is a chick in the shell. Unfortunately, I don't think it's alive. :egg15:

But then because it is blurry I could be wrong.

Is it my imagination or does the cam seem blurrier? (is that a word)

Dixie is panting as ususal! It's really nippy out today. Temp is 54.
I have to wonder if the heat affecting the babies. I look in on them frequently and they are laying down flat as a pancake. Even when there is a feed they don't look very energetic like other babies at other sites.

Has anyone seen the chicks looking perky and bright eyed?!
