Thanks for the pics, Sally...I don't have this cam on as much as I should...but walking around when not feeding? Nope..but not seeing that from chicks this age at other nests either.

At another cam I'm watching, the female would give Dixie a run for her money. I don't know how hot it is in her box, but my goodness, she's rarely on those eggs..and she's panting non stop. Unknown egg lay dates..so, we'll see.

I just watched a feed and both had their fair share! I am sorry I didn't get a pic of their crops! They are cuddling, were sort of cuddling. It has been quite cool today. It's nice to see when no one is suffering from the heat.
Those dark eyes on the chicks are adorable! I love watching them.

I had cam up yesterday. both are eating well. LIke a t most nests, one usually gets its share and then the e other fills up. Smaller one got a private feed after sibling ate.
their pin feathers are coming in

love it sitting on honches

sitting nice for feed.

crops starting to fill

you can see crops after firs t feed

beaking each other

hickory brings prey to box, Dixie intercepts

just look at crops at one point yesterday

still love going under mom

I have been looking in on them today and everything looks good. Of course DIxie is panting and honestly it's not that warm here and the sun is out but not bright. It has to be the heat coming from the tower.

No chicks in view. Something may have happened. I got an email asking if I had ledge cam up this afternoon as may be an emergency. I usually put it up every second day but was busy today
