Very brief glimpse of B3...cam was off line for a while this morning, so I don't know if there was an early morning feed.

Part of breakfast...Poor mom is soooooooooooooooo stiff in the morning. I hope she gets some time away from the nest today.

dad was there for quite awhile yesterday and did a few small feeds.

saw a nice long feed by mom from 15:52 to 15:59. youngster has a crop

I feel so bad for mom. Her leg was so much better...but, I think she must have aggravated the injury during that GHO attack last week...

I thought the same thing SGB. But it is better than the first night after attack.

they did a pull back of cam and nest is quite huge but I think she is a bit limited where bowl is. glad only one as it might be harder for her with 2. There is always a reason for things.

I have not been home much so I did not see when dad was on nest today. I will be going out in an hour again.

I have short video of cam pulled back but waiting for it to process. I thought it was done but not quite

17:49 a few small bites for our wee one.

18:12- on my way out but not too much happening. Looks windy at nest.

Mom just needs to rest. and get better. lots of loose straw

Had a 12 minute family dinner...this is the second 1/2 of that feed. Just so cute..

This was before the feed started. As mom was getting up, apparently B-3 was on her right foot. A little scary. This may happen more than we realize...I've seen it with falcons, haven't ever caught this with eagles, though At least with falcons, they land in the box and mom pulls them back. With eaglets...not as lucky!!

Light rain this morning, Bev..Below freezing tonight and tomorrow night...Mom finally let dad have some baby time...but, not too long.

I'm still concerned about her leg (not that we can do anything about it)...she stepped on the little one pretty hard this morning with that left foot..no harm, thank goodness.

thnaks SGb. I noticed that something must be alarming her a bit. She sure is looking.

My video is a mixture of dad coming in , leaving , feed, mom watching carefully

I will insert it when it is ready.

You can see she is sore but hopefully time will heal . I think it would help if she widened nest bowl but I do realize , they want to keep them snug at first. Soon mom will not have to keep wee one warm and then she can exercise that foot or leg. You see her every once in awhile stretching it out.

Lots of small feeds. This little one does not have to worry about that . there would have been enough for 2 but I am glad there is just one. Mom is feeding again.( just small pieces)

i will post some picutres etc later but mom appears to be trying to make nest bowl larger which is great.

Dad was on outer branch earlier and came into nest and then back to branch and flew off so he is not far away

not time to post picutres till tomorrow but I am enjoying these 3. Dad slept in tree all night. watching the other cam gave me a different perspective.

Thanks Bev.

This was right after IR kicked in. Dad had been perched on his branch, Mom was trying to do a late feed when dad came down. Mom fed a few more bites, but then Dad covered up baby. It was funny. Mom tried to feed baby, then dad, baby was already zonked. It took quite the stare down for Mom to get dad back up.

When I came in this morning dad was in nest an d mom was to the left relaxing. She had probably eaten.
