DAVAO CITY, Philippines – After 21 long years, Pag-asa the Philippine Eagle is a father.

It was a breech birth and the product of artificial insemination, but both eaglet and mom Kalinawan are doing fine.

The eaglet – the first sired by a Philippine Eagle bred in captivity – hatched at 1:55 a.m. on Feb. 9, about 48 hours after it began breaking out of its shell at the Philippine Eagle Center in Barangay Malagos, Calinan district in this city.

I found that beautiful pic of the pair on Storchenhof-Loburg Forum by Robert.

Linda has a wedge-shaped mark behind her eye, a big dark brown circle around the eye and her beak appears more curved.

Sulev's feathers on head and breast show fair brown colours.

OMG They are so beautiful I just can't get over how many types of Eagles we have to watch.
I just found thru priscillash1 a link to a zoo that I had no idea about it has a cam on 4 different kinds of raptors just click the picture
