This afternoon...

Mom comes in with food...dad in hot pursuit...would she share? Nope...I guess she forgot about all those times he left food for her on the nest...I suppose he gave it to her off cam..but, I don't think so...he kept trying to steal a bite..

Thanks for the pics/vids!!

Somebody needs to get this boy an egg. Not that I'm an eagle expert, but I can't recall ever seeing a male sit so much before an egg is laid!!! Maybe mom has instructed him to keep the nest bowl warm...just in case!!

Mom leaves first, followed by Dad (fast forward to the 43 second mark) Watch carefully the upper right quadrant after dad leaves. Blink and you will miss it.

Here's the vid...which is lousy!! Since an increase of viewers, the system is overloaded big time!! Freezes and jerkiness I think are gonna be the norm unless Berry increase their server capacity...very frustrating!!

Anyway, this is the final stages of labor. Really hard to see the contractions because of the feed. What you don't see (because I cut it out...even more freezes than what you see here) is dad trying to feed mom the fish..

He's eating away and then finally realizes that something rather special is happening!!
