just outstanding videos.

Larry is sure building up. It fascinates me, how they seem to know just where to put stick, and his tenderness with Lucy. Just is such feel good moments.

Lucy's stub looks good

I just read that Larry was attacked in the nest today and there's a serious territorial dispute going on. Someone said on chat that Larry has blood on him. Lucy's not in the nest like she usually is at night. I love these two...hate to see this happen to them. :girlsad3:

MpMom at RRP, thinks that there is a new pair taking over. She watches SO close I really value her opinion on them. Now to go see if Talon has any updates.

That's definitely what's happening. Larry escorted someone out of the territory yesterday, has been at the nest several times today looking for Lucy and got attacked. I saw the video and it was pretty intense with both Eagles going over the side of the nest. People are saying on SS that the intruder is on a branch over the nest tonight.

Lots of vids on the daily update page...

What's equally disturbing is that there are 4 videos, after dark, of the intruder pair in the nest.... It is going to be so tragic if our beloved L & L are ousted from this nest. They have worked so hard on it. Equally hard for all of us who have fallen in love with them.

The next day or so is gonna be really tough!!!

:tissue: :tissue: I am just sick about this.
I think we all knew the possibilities of this some day with Lucy not being able to help defend but then, we love this pair.

I am stunned .
Hope Larry and Lucy are O.K.
If there is a female also, I am really afraid for Lucy.

I think we are all crying. Man, this just stinks

This is really, really tough...its bad enough when it happens at other nests, but L & L have been through so much it makes it doubly tragic here.

According to chat, Talon was going to try and locate L & L before he had to go into class. As of right now, no report.

Lucy was last seen on cam, yesterday at 3:30 pm. I believe larry was seen again, after the fight, on the nest. It also appears, that Larry is the one that attacked the male on the nest. Initial conclusion is the intruder male is the one with the possible blood on its white collar. Its also believed that when Larry returned to the nest after the fight, that it was the intruder Female that drove him off..

OK..I am now confusing myself..I'm sure this account may change several times throughout the day.

Other theories being thrown around...Of course, this one the most popular..that this is a migrating pair.

Theory #2: the intruder pair has recently lost their nest due to harsh weather. Heaven knows they have had enough snow there...

So, as of right now, the intruders are in charge of the nest.

Current pic. According to chat, Male in the nest, female on the branch

I was hoping to wake up to better news this AM but it looks like the intruders prevailed. I love L&L...have been watching him build up the nest and bring in the grasses. Lucy has been through so much and Larry has been her rock...I just pray they're OK. Poor Lucy couldn't help defend with her feet...it was all up to Larry. So hard with 2 against 1. :tissue:

thanks SGb.
Just went into chat to tell them ho w sad it is. But we will remain positive.

I know we all are just heart stricken today.

Hopefully Talon will find Larry and Lucy.

I worry most about Lucy.

Not good that both intruders are there, but that they are on guard , hopefully our pair are out there regrouping. In same thought, I would rather they be O.K. and find another nest than come back and lose here ( you know what I mean)

I have to go out but will check back.
