so I'm goin with that

In October I found out her name is Elaine,

I am surprised it was on upside down. But maybe a reason

I was reading the forum at Resoursce

they were bonding in nest thi s mornng. He would not bond with a male in nest.
this has to be a female

I didnt seem likely he'd bond with a male.

I will post a few photos later. You can see big difference in size of feet. Females are always thicker and bigger.

she was around a lot today. they did bond in box( so I think not a male) size difference, feet size .

here is one place she roosted today. to left of box. did not have tim e to grab the closeup but it was her

A missed mating on the cam this morning. Almost done deal .
I think I am seeing what others on other forum do not.
I can’t post pictures from iPad.
I saw bonding in nest box, face to face . Guess you have to be patient to catch them

Uhoo is maturing before our eyes

About 10:11am mtn time- Newman brought small bird to perch of box and U09 retrieved and flew off with it
I worry about her liking top of box, with owl around.

The male here is Newman.
He's been here several years.

A successful mating today on cam. U09 seems to have grownup and realizes how mating works now

This cam threw me for a loop! I picked the nestcam view and there were 2 young girls and Newman. The 2 girls weren't even fighting with each other! I set up recording on the cam. At some point, it occurred to me that this might not be live! It wasn't. It not nice to mess with a person's brain so early in the morning --
