I know what you mean SGB. I keep trying to get my chores finished and am taking more breaks than working. the videos that you and Arles posted are a riot. The one getting stepped on during the landings is too funny trying to shake the other one off!

Hi Mick!
Back to work!! :ciao

Well, it appears we are all doing the same thing today. It really doesn't get better than this. These two are so attached to each other!

Video Bea Climbs up the Rose

Note that their primary wing feathers have just about grown out. They need these long feathers in order to fly in "figure eights."

Compare them to Peregrine Falcons, whose primaries are longer than their tail, giving them excellent maneuverability in the air.

So very glad both have avoided confrontations with crows and lizards!

I am glad too. Several times I heard what sounded like a crow in the background and it made me a nervous wreck.

Wow!!! All of the pictures and videos of Pheobe, Jay, and Bea are fantastic...but this one is my favorite! I'm just so glad (and relieved) that Pheobe finally had a successful nest this year after all the trials and tribulations of last year.

And we begin again... :P

This is the new nest Phoebe was working on while feeding Bea and Jay. It is nice to see that it's under wide eaves.

I got up very, very early this morning and recorded this cam. No time to edit till now. You've all seen videos and pictures of the fledges, but this version is set to music (Kevin MacLeod).

It's nice to have something to smile about today--
