Yellow Girl from Richmond to remain at the Wildlife Center of Virginia under observation till June 28th and at that time they are hopeful she will be transported back to Richmond and released near the site of her original rescue!! Go to site to see her photo and the entire update from the Wildlife Center of Virginia.

* A few minutes later I found a report from VDWR and she is to be released at about 8:30 am on Monday at the nest. Update from them is also at site.

After the votes counted, it's "Dory and Skiff" chosen as the names for the Boat House couple at Hog Island!! They were named after the type of boats that dock there. :10sum:

Port Washington- E66, the peregrine who fledged prematurely when frightened by another sibling's rescuers, has been returned to the box after going missing for several days. Younger sibling E67 is So glad E66 is back!!

Yellow Girl was released this morning to the nest in Richmond after her stay at the "Wildlife Center of Virginia". She fledged for a second time, unfortunately with a "tail guard" still attached to her tail. Go to site to read update.

it has been a rough year , here in Edmonton area, for monitoring, as no cams at key sites. So have had to monitor from ground. so I have been slow with write ups and picture. But we are in an extreme heat wave( never had these temperatures before)been 37C and higher since before last weekend and no end in site till Saturday where we will hopefully be 29C . so I took th e time to catch up most sites( could not sleep). Will do a slide show for Nutrien on weekend as I have so many great shots.
I know there are a few who follow and so now you have something to see. :7val:

Update on the 4 Richmond fledglings with photos at site. Yellow Girl still has the tail guard on, but doing well otherwise.

In Montreal Canada, yesterday I saw two young children of EVE in the old nest on FB. Can enter into the calendar :penguin:

Heerlen, the Netherlands: the juvenile has come back in the nest, looking great!

Rochester NY: The female juvenile, named Freya, has been found dead on a roof nearby. She was missing since June 23 :tissue:

this is great news. I was hoping she would bring them there. been following them. they did not look old enough to fly but maybe pciutres posoted were old ones
