Dr. Sharpe has just rescued Victor, the male fledged eaglet at the Fraser Point nest. He was not in a generalized weakened state as he was able to hold his head high as Dr. Sharpe carried him out in his arms!! Go to site to see what led to this from reports over last few days if interested. Posts begin on Sunday, July 10th at 5:32 am central time.

Sad news coming out of Chesapeake Bay this afternoon as Audrey and Calico Tom have lost their only chick to hatch from their 2nd clutch. The remaining egg has just passed the normal time period of hatch. News coming out is sketchy at this time. The cam op reported the cam has been unplugged and Mr. COM is going to retrieve the body. A very sad day...

They have lost a chick. According to FB, possibly over night (Sunday nite). No cam footage is offering any clues as to what happened.
