Macomb County was banded yesterday. male: Gabe...I'm taking a stab at the band # as they never said, but showed bands at the start of the short vid. It's pretty clear that the smaller sized band was:

b/bl C/79

Sad news. They removed the female (VTN) from the tower yesterday. (they are fairly close to fledge.) She was found to be in very poor condition. Not much info in the report, but my first unprofessional guess could be Trich.

What a shame. Gord found a new drug to treat this, and , if you remember, he had to remove 3 young , one year. They were very bad off , but with new drug, he was ab,e to nurse them back to health.
Just a real pity

Something must have happened the second Harding St. chick, because I've had the cam open since late this morning, and I've only seen one chick. :sum7:

Lakeridge (Canada) Banded Today:

Echo, male~black X/70

If you are on facebook..you have got to see their pics: Canadian Peregrine Foundation. They made the mistake of leaving the broom. Mom, " picked at it, then attacked it and then picked it up and flew it across the road where she dropped it, narrowly missing a van!! Linda was kind enough to put it on the boulevard for me. When I left, I stopped and got it, Alfrieda came screaming at me, swooping, got Velcro into the mix! Boy, she was mad. Don't blame her lol."

They actually got a pic of mom carrying the broom away!! Very impressive.
