Gigi, they posted the final report on cause of death for the Hilton Head eaglets: "Final cause of death was HPAI EA H5N1."

Sky, I remember you posting recently about 3 eaglets passing, but unsure of who they were. I too had seen that in chats, but they never mentioned where. Today down in the HHI chat, someone mentioned the 3 eaglets passing at "Denton Homes". I ran it down and the nest is located west of Des Moines, Iowa. They refer to them as Mom Majestic, Dad Majestic and the eaglets were DH 8, 9, 10. They hatched between 4/10-4/16. In their memoriam at the top right of the cam, they list as passed on 4/23 and unfortunately Dad Majestic passed on 5/2 they say from Avian Flu. Mom Majestic is still alive and can be seen on the DVR perched throughout the night on the curved branch above the nest.

Apparently Grant has been missing from Dollywood at least since yesterday and AEF did not mention till asked by someone outside their organization. Not sure when he actually went missing or that they realized he was missing. Found this posted on a chat from 19 hours ago.

As of today, despite several leads, Grant has not been located. AEF staff continues to watch the area for Grant and investigates any potential sightings. We are all on Grant watch and hoping for his return.
