I edited so ti would not be long . you could see last push just before 19:07:40
and definitely see 2 eggs at 19:06:54

Thanks!! I posted mine on the FB page...she made these cute little sounds during delivery!! (At least I think that was her...the 2 cams aren't in sync, so its kinda tough to tell...)]

I've been substituting in a class of wiggly first graders this week. I wanted something up on the "smart board" screen during the short time between their lunch and recess. After they went to lunch, I found the eagle cam,with these two eagles at "home" tending their eggs. I projected the cam view onto the smart board, turned up the volume a bit, and left to quickly eat my own lunch. A little later I saw them running (sigh) up the hall to their room. I waited a couple of minutes and returned to the room. All the boys were laying on their backs on the carpet, watching the eagle nest with their hands behind their heads, while the girls were kneeling behind them. They watched intently as mama eagle tucked more grass around her eggs. Then daddy eagle came- "Whoa!" WOW!!" They Loved it!

you can make this part of your curriculum. They can do observations for nature study. I taught grade one adn 2 for awhile and they are so interested in things at this age.

Gosh, you might mention that to their regular teacher. I have a friend who is a second grade teacher and each year she leaves the Market Tower Falcon cam in Indy up so the kids can peek into their world. I have gone to her class several times to give a presentation and the kids are really wonderful - so inquisitive. I borrow a preserved peregrine from DNR to take so they can see what one looks like up close.
