Ms Harvey has another egg, but the best thing is the snow is out of the nest & she brought in new soft materials to nest in.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. I doubt that Mrs. Harvey brought in the straw, but who knows. We all complained fiercely on chat when the 2nd egg broke about nest materials never having been added to the box. Maybe this will do the trick.

I was wondering about the nest material, but the mods are the ones that said she brought it in. I stopped watching after the second egg broke.

I hope the nest material will do the trick. they were criticized last year when no nest material was put in so I am guessing it was human induced but they do not like to admit to those things :girlcrazy:

Mrs. Harvey...I personally haven't seen the egg...but, since she's incubating, it must still be good!!!

...and just my personal opinion, but no way Mrs. Harvey brought in all that straw and "distributed" it over the entire box...too bad this was not done at the start of the season...maybe she would be on 3 eggs by now..maybe the snowfall was fast and furious..making it too late to add materials..sure wish there was more in the box..but, happy to see this much!!

they should know better. thy are supposed to be rehabbers. She should have had straw last year also.

they feed her so go all the way and make the nest box more habitable
