North Omaha...its really been hard to get a good look at them..

#3 was on its back..where it seem to stay during this feed. Most other feeds are blocked.

So very sad here.

Everything has been off since hatching began...very few feeds..and when there were feeds, most were short.

Really hard to watch from first hatch on...

he goes through all the motions, but never stays on the eggs.

Not defensive mode...he sleeps very soundly on the edge of that box...LOL

Before eggs, I was able to get a band number...at the time, I couldn't tell ya if it was the male or female as it was right up at the window..then flew off. Band I got was b/g or b/bl H/79.

I've been trying to get a recent #...but, just haven't had the time to go through all the archives.

I have found a few recent pics, where he is incubating normally...but, it does not last long...which just adds to the confusion.

OK...back in April, I called this falcon "Dad"...now I need to get a close up of Mom to see if I was right or wrong...if I was right, then the male we are seeing is not the father..as the current male has no speckles on his breast...let's hope the above pic is of Mom...of course, still doesn't explain the male's behavior it that is Mom..I found H/79 in the data base, but one has the band on the R leg, the other has the band on the left leg...but, its a b/r band..of course, I could be reading the band wrong.

Now to go find a pic of Mom's front..

Edit to add...Now..after going back and looking at recent archives, I believe H/79 is Mom..

I don't have any older pics of Dad..

I just got back online late yesterday after 10 LONG DAYS!
Cox went out! ( growl )

I like this cam - I clicked in this morning .. where are the chicks?
I came here ... they all died. HOW SAD!
