Boy these guys are restless- they are trying to sleep, but one always gets the wiggles and wakes the others up... Meanwhile I can see mama's tail feathers up on the ledge...

Hi - I checked the cam and there was one baby in sight who just wanted to lounge on the ledge. Lightning (had bands) looked at her and looked out and looked at her ...and looked at her - like "time to get up" but she didn't budge. Earlier in the archives I caught 2 feeds of 2 siblings that seemed to be given by lightning (the feeder was smaller than the feed-ees).After both feeds, the juvies just laid down flat....

Two juvies hanging out on the ledge, just preening a bit...Mom just came - she is beak feeding them. The girls are very mannerly...

I actually caught someone preening on the ledge. To my eyes, the falcon looked "smaller" so I was thinking it's Lightning......Hmmm... It's been 20 minutes and our beautiful preener is still at it.

I found a banded falcon preening on the ledge again, I think its Lightning... ed. Mr. Handsome is done preening, now he's just hanging around perched at the nestbox. .....In looking at the archives, Mrs. was preening at the nestbox this morning too, for more than an hour. Lightning came by, there was a short bowing session, and he left.

Someone is home here at Biosci .. I Thot it looks larger, like the female, now she is trying to cast a pellet...She is still here, almost an hour later... a little snoozing, a little preening...
