Oh - just noticed that they are hanging out at the nest box now, too!

Solitary falcon hanging out at the nestbox. I swear the cam must be making a noise, because the falcon looks over its shoulder at the cam every few moments....

Not sure if early or not, there were no posts last year for quite awhile, until December.

Currently she is down inside the box and I may have gotten the male too....

Tahoe's arrival.
Now this nest is a soap opera....
Is this male the resident tiercel of this nestbox, or is this her mate from her other nest?!
Need some sunshine for seeing the bands, and that feather off the lens wouldn't hurt!

The male stayed down in the box forever! and when she finally jumped down in with him, he got up on the ledge. lol

He arrived first..and after some bowing, went to the box..

She followed..

They spent about a minute in there..

He left first..

...and she hopped back up..
