I was just thinking of the female with the hook beak the other day and not looking forward to watching the misery again this year, so I am glad that the little male has a new mate so that he can raise a family. I sure do feel sorry for the other female though and wish that somebody could have helped her because she deserved a successful nest too. Nature is so sad and unfair sometimes.
