Great pic, gigi...somebody is there now...can't see the feet, but looks like the unbanded one...guess we'll have to wait and see who ends up here..

RE: Genoa..

I hate to say it, but I think something is wrong with the female. She is still there, eyes closed. I can't tell if she ate what was brought to her earlier..They've been so good about keeping an eye on the cams, I hope they are watching her too..I wish I had saved the vid of Lucas bringing in the food. It looked like she took a few bites...and then that was it...back to standing with her eyes closed..

She was in the box just sitting last night and again this morning. I thought she was trying to lay an egg. That's why I checked again this morning, she was farther back in the box than last night. I hope she's ok. :girlsad3:

I was watching her this weekend.
Maybe egg bound like Dorothy (Univ of Pitt) or
the Cobb nest a few years ago... Hope not :(

My view of Genoa is awful. Wavy and hard to really see much of anything except that a bird is there. Whoever is on the perch now just lifted its leg as if to scratch.

They both returned and went into the box. Bowing for just a minute. And who ever is left on the perch looking fine. Very windy.

OK...well, this is a tad confusing..They are saying that Lucas is at Genoa...but, when I go to Bay State Milling, they have Lucas listed as the male there...same band number and everything...maybe its a typo...but, just saw a Banded male at Bay State Milling...and we have no bands for this nest.. :girlcrazy:

Okay, this is pulling from my bad memory bank. :girlcrazy:
Somewhere I remember reading about a male who was servicing two nests. I am going to go through the Raptor Resource Project stuff and see if it is in there somewhere. Will advise what I find out if anything.

to add to the confusion..on one Bay state Milling cam page, Lucas is listed...on another Bay State Milling cam page, no male is mentioned...

This is a female..but I don't think it is Roschen...She was very vocal...pacing back and forth, looking up, flying off, then flying back..I got the impression she was being buzzed!!
