Pretty quiet at the WE sites. One of Oak Creek, some of Pleasant Prairie, and one Sweet pic of a Valley falcon -- is it the Mrs., or Hercules? (Looks smallish to me)

Love that sweet little face at Valley! PS Does anyone know is anyone is "negotiating" with the people at the old Milwaukee County property, now the power plant for Milwaukee Regional Hospital to have a cam re-installed? ( just wondered)

Well, today's catch at Oak Creek made me chuckle...No sign of the adults, but a very young, very well fed juvie spent much of the morning at the nestbox. Otherwise Pleasant Prarie came around a few times, too.

Pretty quiet again at the WE nests. Pleasant Prairie showed up several times, and a BANDED peregrine at the Valley site.... Hercules?

Saturday's sightings included an adult peregrine on the perch at Oak Creek, one or two catches of a Presque Isle peregrine, many sightings of the Pleasant Prairie falcon, one closeup catch of a falcon at Port Washington, and a couple catches of the lady of the nest at Valley.

Yes! Thanks so much Kitten! In Oak Creek catches for today, something very odd happened - I almost wonder if something collapsed, or perhaps exploded- all kinds of debris in the Air from the 3:00 pm catch to the 4:00 catch. Luckily the nestbox looks fine.......

I see that a few times @ Oak Creek. (just never posted the pictures) I think it is when steam builds up, then they open valve to release pressure. I've seen it done at the power plant my son used to work for. It is the most god awful loud sound I have ever heard.

The WE nests stepped it up a bit today, after several of the power plants did their steam release thing..... Each of the nests had a peregrine present for at least one catch, and Presque may have won the prize for mosT visits- 5 times! It seems someone is trying to ID this one as several close ups were made....
